Steel Dragons LLC Wraps Filming on the Thrilling New Feature Film, "Velocity Kings: Ride or Die"

Tampa Bay, FL – August 6, 2024 – Filming has just wrapped on the highly anticipated, locally produced feature film, Velocity Kings: Ride or Die. This dramatic thriller, inspired by the popular motorcycle magazine Florida Ride or Die, is set to take audiences on an exhilarating journey through the high-octane world of sport bike performers who find themselves entangled in a web of danger following the murder of one of their own.

Written by Rick Danford, whose recent supernatural horror film The Clock secured worldwide distribution through BayView Entertainment, Velocity Kings: Ride or Die promises to deliver a compelling story infused with human emotion and heart-pounding action. Danford, who also co-directed the film alongside visionary Director of Photography Saulo Zayas, brings his unique storytelling flair to this project under the banner of Steel Dragons LLC.

"We wanted to craft a very human story about a close-knit group of friends dealing with tragedy and the unforeseen repercussions," Danford explains. "We also aimed to highlight the sport bike community that the magazine represents, helping others visualize the lifestyle and camaraderie within its ranks."

Produced in collaboration with Antonio Hernandez, publisher of Florida Ride or Die magazine, the film features a stellar lineup of talent including Bruce Busta Soscia (MobKing), Wes Gillum (Manson: Summer of Blood), Cindy Copeland (Manufactured), Diana Durango (Once a Week for Life), D’Andre Noire (The Man in the Blue Suit) and JT Campos (Queen of the South). The cast and crew captured the essence of Tampa Bay’s vibrant locales, shooting at iconic spots such as the famous OCC Roadhouse and K75 Stunt Academy in Clearwater and historic Plant City.

"Our hope is to showcase the joy of sport bikes while delivering a cinematic experience that will be gripping and visually entertaining for both sport bike enthusiasts and general audiences alike," adds Danford.

With filming completed, Velocity Kings: Ride or Die has moved into post-production. Fans can anticipate the release of the first teaser trailer in the coming weeks, building excitement for a spectacular premiere event ahead of the film’s official release.
