No Sleep Tonight is the brainchild of Rick Danford, an indie filmmaker who grew up listening to classic Old Time Radio shows like the CBS Radio Mystery Theater, Lights Out, Quiet Please, The Mysterious Traveler and The Price of Fear. Rick had always dreamed of turning some of the great radio episodes into films one day but the thought of also revitalizing the age old radio dramas is something close to his heart. So with Covid-19 grounding film production Rick was looking for something to keep his creative juices flowing so he decided to start, No Sleep Tonight. The actors and actresses record their lines from the comfort and safety of their own homes and send him the audio files which he edits together, adds sound fx, music and viola! And with the help of many of the talented people he's met during his 20+ years making films he intends to produce some of the most spine chilling radio dramas your heart can bear.
