Creator Rick Danford put together a prequel story that they originally thought to shoot. But given the fact that renowned Comic Book Artist Austin Janowsky was part of the Creative Team, it was decided to put his exceptional skills to use and allow him to create a Comic Book tie in that will tell this tale. The story centers on ow we got to where the Pilot picks up and even ends right where the first episode fades in. It introduces some key characters that will show up later in the show and once complete it will be a part of the Extended Edition DVD Release.
